A Hard Day's Night..................or early morning, meh...

I literally wanted to bash my head into a wall [numerous times] today. First, I completely space studying for my Psychology final [passed it with an 82 :) super happy about that]. Then I manage to step on an Xacto knife blade [I make jewelry, don't be alarmed, I don't just have random blades littering my bedroom floor].luckily it was a dull blade and only gave me a minor cut. It's back in the case now, in case anyone was wondering....

Right, MOVING ON!

Ever had a 12 year old decked out in Justin beiber gear tell you that The Beatles are a horrible gross band?

You haven't?!?

You aren't missing much then. It was probably the most annoying social situation I have had the misfortune to be involved in. When I was 12, I don't remember being that much of a jerk to anyone. Anyway, the poor kid tries to persuade me into listening to Justin Beiber. I was polite to the little- RAY OF SUNSHINE...... the most difficult thing was to maintain being polite, when in actuality I really wanted to make this face ---------------------------->
Having someone try to persuade you to join the army of screaming Beiblers or whatever they call themselves is the weirdest experience. It's like when those people come to your door and try and get you to join their religion or sell you things. This little determined 12 year was so, so confident that she could get me to join the beiber army. sadly for her, i could not be persuaded. I was raised on The Beatles so pardon the fact I have actual taste when it comes to good quality music....

moral of the story: Beatles are legit and Justin Beiber is not.

NIGHT ALL!

  1. RIGHT ON!!!!!!! I too was raised on the Beatles. When I had children-they listened to the Beatles. My 3 children (15, 10, & 9) have the Beatles on their iPod/mp3 players. Maybe this Beiber boy has a nice voice, I am unsure because if I could get past the terrible lyrics I might be able to listen long enough to find out. It is a sad society when we rely on "good looks" to decide whether we like an artist. I wonder if Beiber knows that his looks will fade and he best learn a trade now before he on the next episode of VH-1's "Where are they now?"

    1. By the time I was 5 I knew all the words to every Beatles C.D that my mum owned. My Favorite songs are Love me do and Rocky Raccoon. Justin Beiber is highly obnoxious. Real music last forever, Justin Beiber and his fandom will fade with time.
