2013 semester, I shall not miss you...

Finally the worst semester to ever rear it's ugly head is coming to pass and I wish it the best of times.
Next semester my books should be here on time so I can get everything done on time and be on track.

Lets look back on 2013,  shall we?
The highlights:
1: The birth of my cousin Avery.
- she is adorable and you couldn't possibly be able to change my mind on that.

2: a pod with Poe!
- I enjoy Poe, we bonded back when I was in middle school. My favorite stories were
the telltale heart and the black cat.

3: I found my favorite poem (ever)
It's by William Blake. It's excellent.

The lowlights of 2013:
1: delay of FA-
Not having enough money to buy books when your financial aid is having issues.  Not having your books until two and a half months into the semester is probably the worst thing that I have ever had to deal with.

2; the make up work-
Deeply, deeply unpleasant.
Trying to stay on top of the new wrk from classes while trying to catch up on the old is jarring.

3: storm damage!
That really doesn't need an explanation...

Fall 2013... You have been one heck of a semester.

I will not miss you...
At all.
*shreds daily planner and tosses in trash*

  1. Man, I'm right with you. This semester has definitely been one of the hardest I've had while at Ivy Tech. Hopefully next semester goes a little bit better than this semester, and hopefully I'll be able to overcome my procrastinating ways. I enjoyed our chats and discussions this semester, as well as the Edgar Allan Poe section ;). Good luck next semester Chelsie!

    1. We should form a procrastination support group! Maybe that'd help... Poe was probably one of my favorites this semester.

    2. I am waiving happily at the departure of 2013's Fall semester as well. I too suffered this lovely financial aid fiasco. Using a credit card to pay for the first installment to the tuition and fees then using money set aside for bills to pay for textbooks causes that guilt only a stay at home mother/wife bears... and it is a grizzly thing, let me tell ya!

    3. Financial aid was killer this year.
