In lieu of family  movie night happening later this evening... I thought I'd write about a piece of literature that I particularly love,  Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock Holmes has been apart of my life almost as long as Bat-Man... which is ridiculously long. A collection of Sherlock Holmes stories was the first book that I read on my own. It's the book that got me into reading and has continued to amuse me through my life(so far). Sherlock Holmes will always be a big part of my life.

    Hey Chelsie! :) I've never read any Sherlock Holmes stories, yet I have seen the two movies with Robert Downey Jr. I also just started watching Sherlock on BBC, excellent series. The level of execution that is put towards the stories is astounding, I have come to enjoy learning the tales of Sherlock Holmes.

      Is the series really that good? I might have to check it out. I do believe that you would like the books. The way that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle writes is in my opinion, excellent. Downey Jr makes for an excellent Sherlock Holmes, and Jude Law is a fantastic Watson.
